The easy2read© product line includes skID (Model R1280IE, R1280IU), a portable RAIN RFID reader with integrated antenna for mid-range applications.

The reader has a built-in rechargeable battery and can be used wirelessly via Bluetooth® interface or wired via USB cable.

Thanks to its Bluetooth® communication interface, SkID is the ideal add-on for any Bluetooth® enabled host computer such as PC, smartphone, PDA or tablet for RAIN RFID readings. Android, iOS, Windows CE/Mobile and Windows 8/10 operating systems are all compatible with the reader. There are three simple ways to attach the SkID to a smartphone: SP-Connect, 3M Dual Lock or magnets.

The foundation of the reader is the Impinj R2000 chipset, which provides fast reading and world-class performance in dense reader and dense label environments.
