The Roswell is the first tag of its kind, with an antenna made entirely of metal. The patent-pending tag is made up of two cylindrical metal casings joined together by a thin high-temperature substrate. While other items on the market may include a tag enclosed in a metal box, Roswell is unique. The antenna-free design ensures reliability and durability by avoiding the danger of tag failure due to heavy impact and vibration because there is no RFID tag contained inside Roswell. Roswell also does away with the necessity for a gap between the tag and the mounting surface, as well as the need for precise welding and attaching operations. There is no transmission loss as a result of the tag’s attachment method.
