Confidex Viking™ Wirepas makes use of the Wirepas Mesh protocol and software stack, which has a number of advantages for large-scale asset tracking and IoT applications. Because all Confidex Viking™ Wirepas tags can transport data between devices and the back-end system, Wirepas Mesh is readily expandable and can have a vast coverage. It tracks the location of assets and people and senses the surrounding environment. Based on its more than fifteen years of experience in industrial wireless identification, Confidex has designed, together with its customers, a modular beacon that will set the standard for industrial asset tracking, indoor and outdoor positioning and sensor telemetry applications.
It comes with standard Wirepas parameters by default. It can be factory-configured with customer-specific parameters and personalized with a custom tag to facilitate field deployment and tag identification.
